At Sian Chay, this is what we make possible every day.
For 124 years, we've been their kampong clinic.
We’ve cared for seniors and vulnerable communities by offering affordable Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), right in the heart of where they live.
But for many seniors, getting care is still not easy. Because the real barrier isn’t distance or awareness. It’s a painful choice they face every single day:
“Do I pay my electricity bill… or do I pay for relief for my knees, my back, my hands?”
They can’t afford both. So they skip the medical care they need. They live with the pain. They suffer in silence.

- Chronic Pain Management: We offer TCM treatments designed for aging bodies, like arthritis, joint pain, mobility issues that steal independence.
- Dignity, Not Handouts: Affordable treatments that let our pioneers keep their pride. This is accessible healthcare, not charity.
- Walkable Care: 14 clinics nestled inside HDB estates. No expensive taxi rides. No long bus journeys to a distant hospital. Just a short walk to healing.
- Free Transport for Wheelchair Users: For seniors who are wheelchair-bound, we provide free transportation to and from our clinics, so cost is never a barrier to getting care.
We're already proving this works.
From 2014 to 2023 alone, Sian Chay served 3,485,248 patients and dispensed 6,610,858 prescriptions across our 14 branches. That’s millions of moments where a senior walked easier, slept better, or hugged a grandchild without wincing.
